Just LOVE the little details like that being able to have a relationship with your professor.Ģ) Love the interactive lecture, where you can sleep through class, take notes, ask questionsģ) Love the graduation ceremony where you can invited family and friends from your hometownĤ) Love the hangout areas - the bowling alley, edgy/hipster cafe in town, the comic store. Can I use this space as a love-rant?ġ) My sim was brown-nosing the professor and at the end of the class, the professor said something like, "I enjoyed having you in class, but my life story isn't going to be on the test" lololl. I just love everything about the Sims 3 University, and Sims 4 University is SO bland in comparison. I've been playing Sims 3 recently after a 6 year break. I’d rather take school at home every time so at least I can play the game while my sim goes into isolation with his homework for a week straight. And I have to do this whole slog 4 times even with perfect grades every time just to get a degree? Otherwise it’s more! For a single degree! I don’t even know if it helps him in any way? I spent the entire time just….waiting for him to finish what he’s doing so I can queue up another mindless task for hours on end. I mean jeez, homework takes like over 2 hours each time to complete!! And the presentation board took him like 4 hours just fiddling with it and nothing else. Even with the time on x3 I just turn on a video and watch while absolutely less than nothing happens in my game. I played last night and I literally didn’t even look at the screen for 10 minutes at a time while my sim did homework and I just watched YouTube. There will be some type of event that happens, like a school pride gathering? But the last time I attended it there was just one game table, a soccer ball and 4 sims all crammed behind a concession stand talking. You just wait outside with the time sped up and there isn’t a single thing look at!! Absolutely nothing is happening the entire time your sim is actually ‘learning’. I’ve tried to throw so many parties in this game and everyone just sits on the couch, and it’s just painful….and then there’s the classes. In sims 3 I would throw absolutely chaotic parties that would last for 3 days and there would be fires started, police arriving all hours of the night, everyone dancing and drinking before fleeing the house for class, half dead, etc. I’ve been sending my sim to university to try new things and I have to come to the conclusion that it’s the most boring thing you could possibly do.
